The Bloomopia Promise: On-Device First
Bloomopia was built to be a private haven. We flip the traditional model upside down: your core AI companion, your memories, and your health data live securely on your device, not in the cloud.
What Stays On Your Device (Local)
- Chat History: Your conversations with Bloomy are processed and stored locally on this device.
- Health & Wellbeing Logs: Moods, journal entries, and check-ins are saved to your device's secure local storage.
- Memories: The contextual facts Bloomy learns about you stay on your phone.
No one can read this data except you. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud backups.
What Goes to the Cloud
We only store what is strictly necessary to run your account and provide premium features.
- Account Information: Email, password (hashed), and basic profile setup.
- Subscription Status: To sync your Orbs and premium access across devices.
- Cloud AI Fallback (Optional): If you ask a question requiring the cloud (like real-time web search), that specific query is sent securely to the cloud.
Data Retention & Deletion
You are in control of your footprint.
- On-Device Data: Deleted instantly the moment you uninstall the app.
- Cloud Account: You can permanently delete your account with one tap in Settings → Manage Account.
- No Selling Data: We never sell, rent, or broker your personal information.
